If there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that I’m an old soul at heart. I love slow mornings, long walks with my dogs, a really good matcha latte from Two Cities Coffee, and I almost always have far too many craft projects going at once. I’m drawn to quiet moments, thoughtful details, and the beauty in everyday life—and that same perspective shapes the way I photograph.
I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was gifted an orange underwater point-and-shoot Olympus camera, and from that moment on, I was hooked. After graduating high school in 2014, I began assisting a wedding photographer, and what started as a job slowly blossomed into a deep love for documenting love stories. Since then, I’ve had the honor of capturing hundreds of weddings for so many incredible couples.
Fast forward nearly a decade, and everything shifted when my daughter was born. I had always offered family, maternity, and milestone sessions, but becoming a mother myself changed the way I see everything. Suddenly, I understood just how fleeting and sacred these seasons are. Now I move through life—and photography—with a completely different lens.
My goal has always been to capture beautiful moments as they unfold, but I want to do more than that. I want to tell your story and preserve your legacy in all its beauty. I believe the most meaningful images are the honest ones—the quiet connections, the laughter, the imperfect in-between moments that feel like home.

THE STORY OF LITTLE OPAL
After the birth of my daughter, everything in my life shifted. I found myself celebrating a new beginning while quietly mourning the version of life I had known before—wrapped in the tender, hazy beauty of newborn bliss. It was the hardest and most rewarding season I had ever walked through, and it left me in awe of motherhood and all that it holds.
She taught me to slow down, to focus on what was right in front of me, and to release expectations in favor of presence. She showed me that not everything is about me anymore—and in that realization, something in my work and heart began to change. I felt called to create something more aligned with the stories I wanted to tell and the legacy I wanted to build.
Little Opal was born from that season. Inspired by my daughter, the name blends her nickname with her birthstone—something soft, luminous, and deeply meaningful. I wanted to create a brand that reflected both of us, and one day, something I could pass down to her if she chose to walk this path too.
